Designers were asked to design a innovative bath using
Cristalplant Biobased material.
Idio combines tradition and modernity, recalling in the
perimetrical edge, the serrated shape of the ancient washbasin
tables that blends the organicity of the entire product. Idio,
from the Italian dictionary, placed before a term of a scientific
nature, means distinguished or particular, characteristics that
it wants to reveal in a silent way through its aesthetics. Idio
has to be contemplated for its material honesty and purity of
the silhouette drawn by the play of shadows that softly scales
its body.
Idio has been designed for the Cristalplant Design Contest
2015 organized by Cristalplant and Antonio Lupi.
